Our client is a well-established asbestos company with a strong reputation and due to continuing growth of the business, they are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Asbestos Lab Manager to join their busy team in the South West region. Applications from Gloucester, Bath, Swindon and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must have attained the P401 qualification as a minimum.
Will have supervisory or management experience.
Must have experience in equipment validation, maintenance and calibration.
A strong technical, quality, audits, and laboratory background essential.
Excellent communication skills.
Competent with Microsoft Office package.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, train and develop staff.
Ensure working environment is in a clean and safe manner at all times.
Compliance with all the Health and Safety requirements of the role.
Overseeing the laboratory team and ensuring work is carried out effectively.
Ensure samples are appropriately dealt with and stored correctly.
Monitoring of all work to ensure compliance with the company’s procedures and policies
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
Carrying out audit checks.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
