Job Description

Our client are a well-known name within the asbestos industry and due to their current success they require an experienced Asbestos Lead Surveyor to join their busy office/team in the South West area. Consideration will be given to applications from Somerset, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos sector.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be IT literate.
Well versed with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Producing accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
Managing and training of staff.
Carrying out consultancy duties as required.
Assisting in managing projects, preparing fee proposals, technical co-ordination and auditing in line with the company’s procedures.
