Job Title: Asbestos Operations Manager
Location: Slough, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £30k – £55k + Benefits.

Our client is a leading name within the Asbestos industry they are nationally established with a strong presence in the South East of England. They provide the full range of asbestos management services to Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Social Housing, Retail and Leisure sites. They are now seeking to take on a knowledgeable and professional Asbestos Operations Manager. This role would suit someone who has extensive operational and technical management experience within the asbestos industry. You must be able to manage, oversee, and support our clients longstanding team of staff, alongside ensuring smooth day to day running on site, making sure that jobs are completed in line with agreed timeframes and client specifications. You will also have experience in producing accurate tenders and quotations for clients and preparing and distributing site specific RAMS.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will hold industry relevant qualifications BOHS P402, P403, P404, P405
” Holding the CCP / CoCA would be beneficial to the role.
” Will have experience working for an established Asbestos Company, ideally UKAS accredited.
” Will have a proven track record working within an operations / technical management position.
” Extensive knowledge of HSG 264 / HSG 284 guidelines.
” Experience working hands on within the asbestos industry would be beneficial to the role (surveying / analytical)
” Excellent IT skills, able to use industry recognised systems (TEAMS / TRACKER)
” Able to manage workload efficiently, in line with company and client requirements.
” Excellent communication skills via email, phone, face to face.
The Role:
” Overseeing day to day operations on site.
” Overseeing site staff, providing support and efficient management.
” Creating tailored training plans for employees.
” Managing workload efficiently and delegating where required.
” Ensuring that all technical and quality procedures are up to date in line with relevant legislation and are being followed.
” Attending site to carry out audits, inspections, and quality control, in order to maintain companies UKAS accreditation.
” Writing and producing site specific RAMS.
” Providing clients with quotations and tenders for work to be carried out.
” Acting as first point of contact for clients, providing excellent support and advice when required.
” Ensuring that internal systems are up to date and accurate.
” Quality checking surveying and analytical reports, ensuring they are accurate and completed in line with audit requirements.
” Efficiently making improvements to technical standards of work carries out by staff.
” Ensuring that work is completed in line with agreed timeframes.
” Some involvement with financial duties within the business.
” Attending client meetings, ensuring to represent the company in a professional manner.
