Our client a successful asbestos company are currently undergoing rapid expansion and therefore are urgently looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Asbestos Project Manager for a range of contracts in and around the London area. This role includes duties such as managing portfolios of asbestos projects covering a mixed portfolio of clients, getting involved with quality control and reporting and building and maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s clients. Applications from Essex, Ashford, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

The applicant must hold the P402/P403/P404 or the S301/CCP qualification.
Must have a strong asbestos background.
A good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation/procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in this role within the asbestos industry.
Competent with Microsoft office package.

Main Responsibilities:

Managing a portfolio of asbestos projects covering a mixed portfolio of clients
Assessing potential contracts, producing estimates, quotations and completing risk assessments.
Carrying out audits and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and company policy.
Build and maintain a professional working relationship with the company’s clients.
Produce comprehensive management reports using the company procedures.
Supervising Site Analysts and Surveyors carrying out work on various projects.
Undertake tendering process including writing tender specifications, accompanying contractors to site and evaluating tenders submitted.
Getting involved with quality control and reporting.
