Our client a well-established and successful asbestos company provides professional services to clients nationwide. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a self-driven and enthusiastic Asbestos Project Manager in and around the Portsmouth area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong asbestos consultancy background with experience managing site and staff and ensuring effective and timely completion of projects. Consideration will be given to applications from Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Chichester, Salisbury and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:
Must come from a strong asbestos consultancy covering Asbestos Surveying, Site Analytical and Project Management background
A good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation/procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong technical and commercial experience of asbestos consultancy.

Main Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of Asbestos Consultancy projects covering a mixed portfolio of clients
Assessing potential contracts, producing estimates and completing risk assessments.
Carrying out audits and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and company policy.
Build and maintain a good relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
Managing and co-ordinating a team of asbestos technical staff
Produce comprehensive management reports using the company procedures.
Providing quotations
