Job Description

This well-established asbestos company provides a variety of professional services and due to current business demands, they are actively looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos QC Reports Writer/Lab Analyst to join their busy office in the East Midlands region. Applications from Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Experience of working in this or similar role within the asbestos industry.
Must hold the P401 qualification.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Have a good knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Book in and prepare samples for analysis.
Carry out analysis of samples for fibre content, report analytic findings.
Produce certificates of analysis.
Check the contents and technical aspects of information contained in the reports are in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
Liaise appropriately with the surveyors in regards to any changes, amendments or discrepancies in the reports.
Ensure the final documents are of a high standard and well-presented before delivery to the clients.
Track surveys from site to delivery, type up the reports within the specified time frame.
Carry out any other administrative/lab duties as and when required.
