Job Title: Asbestos Removal Operative
Location: Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £135 – £200 Day Rate + Training + Benefits

A professional and highly successful Asbestos Removals company with a strong presence in the South West are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Removal Operative. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up enclosures on Healthcare, Educational, Domestic, Retail, and High Security sites, safely removing asbestos ensuring that work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines. Due to the nature of the work the successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable in line with company and client needs.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Taunton, Minehead, Bridgewater, Ilminster, Yeovil, Trowbridge, Bath, Bristol, Barnstable, Lynton, Bampton, Tiverton, Honiton, Exeter, Okehampton, Bideford, Tavistock, Torquay, Exmouth, Teignmouth.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working hands on as a removal operative for a reputable Asbestos Removal company is essential to the role.
” Will hold an in date Asbestos Operative training certificate.
” In-depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Excellent communication and time management skills.

The Role:
” Visiting Healthcare, Educational, Domestic, Retail, and High Security sites.
” Setting up enclosures around buildings / materials that contain asbestos.
” Ensuring to remove the asbestos safely, reducing exposure.
” Decontaminating tools upon completion of work.
” Carrying out licenced and non-licenced removal projects.
” Working in line with site specific RAMS.
” Working closely with Removal Supervisors.
” Carrying out and passing HSE audits.
” Working in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
