Job Title: Asbestos Removal Supervisor
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £135 – £200 day rate + Training + Benefits

An industry leading provider of Asbestos Removal services across the South West are now seeking to take on a Asbestos Removal Supervisor. The successful candidate will be working on a mixed portfolio of sites ensuring to efficiently manage and oversee licenced and non-licenced removals projects, managing a team of operatives, and ensuring work on site is carried out in line with site specific RAMS / relevant Health and Safety regulations. Candidates will have good access to the M5 / South West and surrounding areas: Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucester, Cirencester, Stroud, Cheltenham, Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Malbrough, Devizes, Warminster, Andover, Sailsbury, Shaftesbury, Shepton Mallet, Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgewater, Taunton, Glastonbury, Exeter.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working for an established Asbestos Removal company, working as an Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
” Will hold an in-date asbestos supervisor’s ticket.
” In-depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Able to communicate with clients and colleagues via phone, email, face-to-face.
” Able to supervise and manage people in a fair & efficient manner.
” Able to manage workload efficiently in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
” Overseeing and managing licenced and non-licenced removals projects across a mixed portfolio of sites.
” Efficiently managing operatives.
” Creating and amending site specific RAMS.
” Undertaking and passing HSE audits.
” Acting as first point of contact on site for clients, providing in-depth technical advice and support.
” Ensuring work is completed in line with agreed time frames.
” Checking RPE prior to attending site.
” Working with internal managers to ensure smooth day to day running of projects.
” Preparing sites for 4 stage clearances.
” Building air and bag locks.
” Carrying out training with new and existing staff members.
