This diverse and multi-disciplined company that offers various asbestos, environmental, legionella, and other compliance services to a mixed portfolio of clients is now seeking for a self-driven and commercially focused Asbestos Sales Manager based in and around the Chelmsford area. The ideal applicant will come a strong technical asbestos background and will demonstrate excellent sales skills with a proven track record of selling asbestos services to new and existing clients. Consideration will be given to applications from Romford, Basildon, Harlow, Braintree and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, they are looking for a professional who comes from a strong, sales, accounts, chemical, technical, business development and asbestos background.

Must have good formal education and must be fully conversant with the asbestos industry.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.

Must have excellent communication, organizational, presentational, leadership and client facing, leadership and management skills.

Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Principal Duties:

Selling the company’s asbestos consultancy services whilst still managing existing clients.
Selling companies additional Legionella, Health & Safety services.
Identifying and pursuing new business leads – researching.
Networking – contacting clients and building a good rapport with them.
Getting involved with quotations, proposals and KPI’s.
Overseeing sales staff and ensuring that they carry out the work effectively.
Attending meetings and delivering presentations as and when required.
Liaising with potential customers/clients and informing them of the company’s services.
Getting involved with Key Performance Indicators.
Providing a feedback to the senior members of staff.
Building new sales strategies.
Meeting targets and goals.
Profit and loss.
Keeping up with current legislation.
