Job Description

Due to acquiring new prestigious contracts, this client based and UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy with a large presence is actively seeking to employ a highly and multi-skilled skilled and committed Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will hold the P403/4 certificates and will be experienced in carrying out analytical duties on a range of site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Tamworth, West Bromwich, Stourbridge, Solihull and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must have attained the P403/P404 certificate or the equivalent – RSPH certificate and at the same time must have significant and varied experience working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.
Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and client facing skills/
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Aspects of the Role:

Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Asbestos Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
Collating and producing accurate reports as and when required.
Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

Overall, the successful individual will be flexible, focused and have the ability to work independently and effectively and must be flexible with regards to travelling to sites designated by the client.
