Job Role – Asbestos Surveyor
Area of work: Yorkshire / Midlands
Salary: 24,000 – 38,000 DOE + Benefits and Company Vehicle

Leading Yorkshire based asbestos consultancy, are currently looking to recruit an experienced and self-sufficient asbestos surveyor to join their team. You will be traveling to client sites across the Yorkshire / Midlands region, undertaking asbestos surveys in line with industry requirements. Applicants will come from a strong asbestos surveying background and will have experience working on a varied site base. Alongside a competitive basic salary, the client can offer attractive overtime rates and opportunities to cross train.

Candidates will have good access to the M1 and Yorkshire / Midlands area. Areas considered include; Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Derby, Nottingham, Mansfield, Loughborough, Leicester and the surrounding areas.

Experience:
– BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 asbestos qualification.
– Significant experience working as a surveyor within the asbestos industry.
– Strong knowledge of asbestos related legislation.
– Flexible can do attitude and willingness to travel within the role.
– Able to work independently or as part of a team.
– Fully driving licence.

The Role:
– Conducting in-depth asbestos management, refurbishment & demolition surveys across commercial, domestic and industrial properties.
– Carrying out works to HSG 264 guidelines / UKAS standard.
– Identifying and sampling suspected ACMs.
– Collecting data from site and writing up technical reports for clients.
– Building strong business relationships with clients and feeding back asbestos management recommendations.
