Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Bristol, Somerset.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £36k + Training + Benefits

We are working closely with an independent Asbestos Consultancy who provide the full range of asbestos management services across the South West. They are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor; you will be working on Commercial and Industrial sites using floorplan software, ensuring that asbestos surveys are carried out in accordance with HSG 264 guidelines. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel throughout the South West region. Our client can offer a competitive basic salary, opportunities for overtime, company pension scheme and excellent holiday allowance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bath, Trowbridge, Weston-Super-Mare, Chippenham, Malbrough, Devizes, Swindon, Andover, Warminster, Sailsbury, , Ilminster, Yeovil, Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Taunton, Bridgwater, Gloucester, Cardiff, Newport, Barry, Caerphilly, Bridgend.

Experience & Qualifications:
” BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification (Essential).
” Will have a strong background working in a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
” Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
” Will be IT literate, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems and floorplan software.
” Able to communicate efficiently and professionally.

The Role:
” Conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
” Sampling of ACMs, ensuring to bag and label correctly.
” Working in accordance with HSG 264 guidelines.
” Producing detailed reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
” Using floorplan software.
” Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice when required.
