Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who provide excellent Asbestos Services across the UK on a range of Local Authority, Educational and Infrastructure sites are now seeking to recruit a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor within the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will be experienced within the Asbestos industry, carrying out Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys on a mixed range of sites in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations. In return, our client can offer excellent training opportunities within the asbestos industry as well as cross training to other environmental sectors.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience within the Asbestos industry, ideally working hands on as an Asbestos Surveyor.
” At a minimum will hold the BOHS P402 Qualification or RSPH equivalent.
” Confident in using industry relevant systems on site (TEAMS / TRAKCER).
” Will have strong communication and organisational skills.
” Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations in relation to Asbestos.

The Role:
” Working on a wide client base, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
” Carrying out sampling in line with relevant Health and Safety / HSG264 guidelines.
” Using handheld PDA on site to accurately record information and produce site specific reports.
” Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues.
