Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Chelmsford, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £35k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor

Profile: UKAS Accredited Consultancy running for over ten years, well known for carrying out the full range of services for local authority and commercial clients across the South East. Due to new contract wins, they are looking to build their team and recruit another experienced P402 Surveyor; able to confidently carry out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on housing as well as larger shops, warehouses, public houses and schools. Able to offer above average salary offers, company van with personal use, fuel card and company credit card. Regular overtime is available for Surveyors should they wish to undertake it.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH L3 qualification is essential to the role.
” Will ideally have time spent working for an established Consultancy.
” Able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
” Experience working on a mixed portfolio would be beneficial.
” Will be able to confidently use PDA / TRACKER / TEAMS systems.
” Will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
” Able to organise workload efficiently in line with company and client needs.

The Role:
” Carrying out management, demolition, and refurbishment surveys.
” Taking samples of suspected ACM’s and delivering to the office for analysis.
” Using information from site to produce detailed reports on PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER system.
” Ensuring that all work carried out is being carried out in line with up-to-date health and safety guidelines.
” Liaising with clients, building excellent working relationships and providing advice on remediation where required.
