Job Description

Due to continued success this well-established asbestos company which provides a wide range of asbestos services to clients nationwide is now actively looking to recruit an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in and around the Bath area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong asbestos background and will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will have extensive experience carrying out asbestos surveys and analytical duties. Applications from Chippenham, Weston-super-Mare, Bridgwater, Gillingham and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have attained the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Have experience in a surveyor/analyst role within the asbestos industry.
A good working knowledge of asbestos health & safety legislation.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Undertake Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervise contractors on site to ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
Collating information to produce accurate asbestos reports.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with clients.
