This well-established asbestos consultancy is enjoying great success so they now have an opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their busy team to cover a wide range of contracts in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong asbestos background with experience undertaking both analytical duties as well as management, refurbishment and demolition surveys. Applications from Solihull, West Bromwich, Stourbridge, Dudley and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Must possess the P402, P403, P404 asbestos certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Previous experience working as a surveyor/analyst.
Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A good knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety legislation/procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Duties of the role:

Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Provide Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on commercial, industrial properties and domestic properties.
Supervise contractors on site ensuring they comply with asbestos Health & Safety regulations.
Produce comprehensive reports.
Build and maintain a professional relationship with clients.
