Job Description

Due to continued success this prominent and successful UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy has an opportunity for an experienced and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join them in the South East region. Applications from Sussex, Surrey and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualifications is essential.
Previous experience working as a surveyor/analyst in a UKAS accredited company.
Excellent communication skills.
Fully conversant with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Will be IT literate.
CAD experience desirable.

Key Tasks:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site ensuring they comply with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
Collating and producing comprehensive reports.

Full clean driving licence essential.

Overall, the successful post-holder will be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
