Our client is an independent asbestos management consultancy providing a wide range of professional services for the asbestos market throughout the UK and due to business commitment, they are presently seeking the services of a competent, hardworking, and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will be experienced in carrying out both asbestos surveying and analytical duties. Consideration will be given to applications from Bedminster, Redfield, Horfield, and the surrounding areas.

Purpose of the Role:

Covering a mixed bag of contracts in the South West – as per client’s requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P402, P403, P404 qualifications the equivalent – RSPH qualifications.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have sound knowledge of the Health and Safety legislation pertaining to asbestos.

Responsibilities Will Entail:

Conducting asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air-testing.
Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Producing comprehensive and accurate asbestos reports
Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis and dealing with issues effectively and appropriately.
