This fast growing and well established UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy that provides a broad range of asbestos and environmental services to a mixed portfolio of clients is actively seeking a competent, reliable and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their busy team in South Wales and will include applications from Caerphilly, Newport, Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the applicant must have attained the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos sector.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and must proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be fully aware of the with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.

Conducting Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports as and when required.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis – dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.

In general, the successful post-holder will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team and at the same time must be prepared to travel to sites designated by the client.
