Job Description

A well-established asbestos consultancy with a good reputation for providing professional services to clients nationwide is now looking to recruit a competent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to work on various contracts in and around the Chelmsford area. The successful candidate will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and significant experience carrying out both surveying and analytical duties on various site types. Applications from Romford, Brentwood, Wickford, Billericay and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold the P402, P403, P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Need to be well versed with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties.
Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air-testing.
Overseeing contractors on site ensuring that they adhere to asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing technical asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
