Due to continued growth of the business, this well-established company providing professional and quality services to clients is looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their busy team in the Colchester. The company can offer the right candidate the opportunity to expand on their client facing and consultancy skills. Applications from Chelmsford, Braintree, Basildon, and the surrounding areas will be considered. This company will also consider Asbestos Surveyors who are looking to take the next step in their career and gain the P403/4 qualifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P402, P403 and P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualifications.
Extensive experience working within this role in the asbestos industry is essential.
Possess good communication skills.
Be well versed with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Main Tasks:

Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial properties.
Collating and producing accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
Undertaking asbestos smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air testing on properties.
Overseeing contractors carrying out removal work and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Building and maintaining good working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
