Our client is known for providing a range of high quality asbestos services to a mixed portfolio of clients throughout the UK. Currently, they are looking to recruit an experienced, versatile and skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around the Glasgow area. The successful postholder will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will be experienced in carrying out both analytical and surveying duties. Applications from East Kilbride, Hamilton, Airdrie, Cumbermauld and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P402, P403 and P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working in this role – asbestos surveying and air-testing within the asbestos industry.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Will be fully conversant with the asbestos Health and Safety procedures.

Responsibilities within the role:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
Overseeing contractors on site ensuring they carry out the work in accordance with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
