Job Description

Our client, a well-established asbestos and environmental consultancy provide professional services on a broad range of asbestos disciplines and due to an expansion in workload they are now looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst for a wide variety of contracts in and around the Leeds area. The successful postholder will hold the P402/3/4 and be experienced in carrying out asbestos surveying and analytical duties on a varied site base. Applications from Bradford, Wakefield, Tadcaster, Harrogate and the surrounding area.

Minimum requirements for this role:

Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates.
A good working knowledge of asbestos health & safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in asbestos surveying and air-monitoring within the asbestos sector.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Undertake Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on properties including commercial and industrial.
Overseeing contractors on site to ensure compliance with asbestos health and safety procedures.
Produce and submit comprehensive reports.
Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with clients.
