Job Description

Our client is a leading name in the asbestos industry providing an array of services to clients nationwide. They are now actively seeking to recruit an experienced and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in the London area. The ideal applicant will come from a strong asbestos background and will hold the P402/3/4 certificates as well as significant experience undertaking both asbestos surveying and analytical duties. Applications from Mitcham, Woking, Leatherhead, Croydon and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have attained the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience in this role within the asbestos industry.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
IT literate.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide variety of properties.
Supervise contractors on site ensuring compliance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.
Build and maintain a good relationship with clients.
