Job Description

Due to expansion in workload, this fast growing client based asbestos consultancy with a good presence is actively seeking the services of a multi-skilled, committed and competent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst in the North East region. Undertaking daily duties such as, air testing, producing reports and supervising contrators. Applications from Newcastle, Durham, Ashington and the surrounding areas will be considerd.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P402/P403/P404 certificate or the equivalent – RSPH certificates.

Must have a proven track record working within this role – asbestos surveying and air-monitoring and within the asbestos parameter.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Role Will Encompass:

Carrying out background, leak, reassurance, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation, visual and personal air testing.

Carrying out Asbestos Management, Demolition/Refurbishment surveys on commercial and industrial properties.

Collating and producing comprehensive reports as and when required.

Supervising asbestos contractors on site carrying out removal work and ensuring that they comply with Health & Safety procedures.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis.

Overall, the successful candidate will be confident, flexible, have good work ethic and and must be prepared to travel to sites designated by the client.
