Our client currently has an opportunity for an experienced, hard-working Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their successful asbestos company in and around the Sheffield region. Applications from Rotherham, Huddersfield, Wakefield, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P402/P403/P404 qualifications or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working as a surveyor/analyst within the asbestos industry.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fully conversant with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the relevant Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.

Overall, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder with a positive attitude.
