Job Description

A hard-working and experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst is currently being sought by a well-established and expanding asbestos and environmental consultancy to work on a wide range of contracts in the South West region.Undertaking daily duties of producing reports, Supervising contractors ensuring that they are following asbestos H&S regualtions, and carrying out stage 4 clearances. Applications will be considered from Exeter, Torquay, Bodmin, Redruth, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must hold the P402, P403 and P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
A good working knowledge of asbestos health & safety legislation.
Competent with Microsoft office package.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Undertake Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a wide variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervising contractors on site ensuring compliance with asbestos health & safety procedures.
Producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with clients.
