Due to acquiring large and prestigious contacts, this well established and growing asbestos company that pride themselves in providing various professional and high quality asbestos services to clients across the country is actively seeking the services of a self-motivated, competent and reliable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in the Taunton area. Undertaking daily duties such as stage 4 clearances, Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that all are adhering to Health and Safety procedures, Liaising with the companies mixed portfolio of clients. Applications from Bridgewater, Glastonbury, Port lock, Exeter and the surround ding areas will be taken into consideration.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the P402/P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and having a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos arena is essential.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Purpose of the Role:

Covering contracts predominately in the Midlands hence must be flexible with regards to travelling.

Tasks Will Include:

Carrying out asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing on various properties.

Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.

Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere with the Health and Safety procedures appertaining to asbestos.

Producing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required.

Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
