Job Description

Due to continued expansion this UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy is actively looking to recruit an experienced and competent Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst based in and around Twickenham. The successful postholder will be experienced in carrying asbestos analytical duties as well as undertaking asbestos surveys on a range of site/contract types. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates although the company will consider a P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor looking to progress their career. Applications from High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Slough, Bracknell and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must possess the P402, P403, P404 or the equivalent RSPH certificates.
Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A good working knowledge of the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key duties within the role:

Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Supervise contractors on site, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
Collate and produce accurate asbestos reports.
Build and maintain a professional relationship with clients.
