Due to current business needs and expanding portfolio of clients, this leading asbestos consultancy that provides specialist advice and services in all asbestos related disciplines across the UK is actively seeking to employ a competent, multi-skilled and committed Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong asbestos background and will hold the P402 certificate as well as extensive experience undertaking asbestos surveying duties on various site types. Applications from Tamworth, Solihull, Stourbridge, Cannock and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the P402 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification is imperative and so is having vast and varied experience working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal and be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Role Will Entail:

Undertaking Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings – commercial and industrial.
Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a good working rapport with the clients.

In general, the successful applicant must be flexible, have good work ethic and have the aptitude to carry out the work effectively and within time line and must be prepared to travel extensively.
