Due to a growing client base, a UKAS accredited asbestos company that provides asbestos surveying, asbestos sampling, COSHH assessments and Health & Safety and training to a mixed portfolio of clients nationwide is actively seeking the services of a good calibre, committed and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Bristol area and will include applications from Bath, Weston-super-Mare, Chippenham, Stroud and the surrounding areas.
Purpose of the Role:
Covering a mixed bag of contracts predominately in West Midlands and as per client’s requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must have attained the P402 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification and at the same time must have a proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal and be well versed with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings – both commercial and industrial.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining good working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team and carry out the work within timeline.
Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
