Job Description

This leading asbestos and environmental consultancy enjoys a reputation in providing high quality asbestos and environmental services and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor for a variety of contracts in and around the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402 certificate and have extensive experience undertaking asbestos surveying duties on a range of site types. Applications from Taunton, Salisbury, Chippenham, Stroud and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

The individual must have attained the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Must have significant experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Fully conversant with the asbestos Health & Safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties including industrial and commercial.
Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
Collating and producing concise, comprehensive asbestos reports.

In general, the post holder must be a strong team player with a positive work ethic.
