Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy dealing with a range of disciplines who, due to expansion are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover a variety of contracts in and around the Chelmsford area. Applications from Basildon, Romford, Braintree, Basildon and the surrounding areas will be considered. This company will also look at Trainee Surveyors who are looking to take the next step in their career and will offer full training and supervision.

Qualifications & Experience:

Holding the P402, or the equivalent RSPH qualification is the minimum requirement.
Must have a strong educational background.
Previous experience of working in this role required.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Experience of the construction and/or demolition industry beneficial.
Being a team player whilst having the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Ccarrying out asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on a variety of properties.
Undertaking sampling of asbestos.
Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with our many clients.
