Our client is a highly successful UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy who are urgently seeking the services of a smart, diligent, and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Glasgow area. The ideal candidate will hold the P402 and will possess considerable experience and knowledge carrying out asbestos surveys on various site types. Consideration will be given to applications from East Kilbride, Cumbernauld, Paisley, and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must have attained the P402 or the RSPH qualification and at the same time must previous practical experience working within this role and within the asbestos arena.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and client-facing skills.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures and regulations pertaining to asbestos.
Tasks Will Include:
Carrying out Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports as and when required.
Liaising with clients from all levels on a regular basis, including high profile clients and dealing with issues appropriately and effectively.
Overall, the successful post-holder will be versatile, flexible, committed and have good work ethos and must have the aptitude to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
