This UKAS accredited asbestos company with a large presence in the Southern region is actively seeking the services of a smart, competent and self-motivated Asbestos Surveyor to work on a mixed bag of contracts in the London area. Undertaking daily duties, such as communicating with the companies mixed portfolio of clients and dealing with problems in an effective and timely manner and producing asbestos reports. Applications from Dartford, Ashford, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas will be considerd.
Qualifications & Experience:
The applicant must be in possession of the P402 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification and at the same time must have significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be well versed with the Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Conducting asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings – both commercial and industrial.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.
Liaising with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients on a regular basis and dealing with any issues appropriately and effectively.
In general, the successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work independently and complete the work within time line.
Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
