Job Description

Due to the rapid expansion of this well-established asbestos company they now urgently require a competent and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor based in and around the Newcastle-upon-Tyne area. Consideration will be given to applications from Gateshead, Sunderland, South Shield, Blyth and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold the P402 certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures.

Role:

Asbestos Management, Demolition/Refurbishment surveys on a wide range of properties including domestic and commercial.
Overseeing contractors working on site ensuring that they comply with the relevant Health & Safety procedures.
Collating and producing asbestos reports.
Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with clients.

Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible with a positive working ethic.
