Here is a fantastic opportunity for a competent, committed and multi-skilled Asbestos Surveyor to work for a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy. The successful candidate will have extensive experience working within an asbestos site role and will be based in or around the Northampton area. Consideration will be given to applications based in Cambridge, Bedford, Milton Keynes, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must possess the P402 or the equivalent RSPH qualification and at the same time have significant experience working within this role and within the asbestos industry.

Must have in-depth knowledge of the Health & Safety procedures with regards to asbestos.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

Undertaking Asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings including commercial and industrial.

Collating and producing comprehensive reports.

Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

Attributes:

In general, the successful post-holder will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to carry out effectively and within time line.

Must be prepared to travel to sites as per client’s requirement.
