Job Description

Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos company, who provide a wide range of professional services to clients nationwide. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to work on varied site base in and around the Nottingham area. The successful is candidate will hold the P402 and have hands on experience undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys to a mixed portfolio of sites. Applications from Derby, Burton-upon-Trent, Peterborough and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The individual must hold the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience working as an asbestos surveyor.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Will be well versed with the asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Role:

Asbestos Management, Demolition/Refurbishment surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
Collate & produce accurate, comprehensive reports.
Supervising asbestos contractors on site ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the relevant Health and Safety procedures.
Developing and maintaining a good relationship with clients.
