Here is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre Asbestos Surveyor to under-take a client-facing surveying position within well-established and prestigious consultancy. The right candidate will hold a strong technical knowledge and have experience in delivering in-depth asbestos surveys to large commercial and industrial site. Ideally based in and the around the Plymouth area but must happy to travel as per the clients requirements. Applications from Thurlestone, Tavistock, Looe and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the P402 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification and must have significant and varied experience working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.

Will have experience working on commercial and industrial sites

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must have good organizational and client-facing skills.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties will include site work – undertaking asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties, including commercial and industrial.

Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports as and when required.

Developing and maintaining a good working rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

Able to liaise with clients and provide consultancy service following asbestos surveys

Proven ability of managing own work load.

Must be happy to travel nationally.

Requirements/Attributes:

Ideally, the successful candidate will be a good team player, versatile, flexible and have the ability to work independently and have the aptitude to carry out the work effectively and within time line.

Must be prepared to travel to sites designated by the client.
