Job Description

Due to continued success this well-established asbestos company is looking to recruit a competent and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor to work for them in and around the Taunton area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in carrying out asbestos surveys to a mixed portfolio of sites and have a keenness to develop within the asbestos industry. In return, the company is offering the opportunity for the right person to cross train in to the analytical side of the industry and gain further P Certs. Applications from Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Bridgwater, Yeovil and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & experience:

Applicant must possess the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
Previous experience of working as a surveyor within the asbestos industry.
Possess excellent communications skills.
Proficient with Microsoft office package.
Good working knowledge of asbestos health & safety procedures/legislation.

Role:

To carry out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including both commercial and industrial.
Collate information to produce comprehensive asbestos reports.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with company’s clients.
