Due to current state of the business, they are now looking for an ambitious, self-driven and commercially focused Asbestos Trainee Business Development based in and arount the Yorkshire area. Applications from Darlington, Hull, Sheffiled, Leeds and the surrounding areas will be considerd.

Ideally, they are looking for a professional who must come from a good educational background.

No sales experience needed, as full training and support will be provided. This Client is looking for a motivated individual, who is happy to learn and progress further within the industry. Successful candidate will have previous experience of working in the Asbestos/H&S/Environmental or Construction sector.

Must have excellent, communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, presentational and client facing skills.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must be well versed with the asbestos industry and Health & Safety procedures.

Key Role:

Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers

Generating business leads whilst still managing existing accounts.

Attending meetings.

Attending and conducting meetings and discussing financial position of the business, etc.

Achieving targets and goals.

Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.

Developing plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.

Meeting Key Performance Indicators.

Getting involved with tenders and pricing of contracts.

Attributes:

Overall, the successful applicant will be self-motivated, independent and have good communication skills.
