Job Title: Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bath, South West.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Assistant Commissioning Engineer through to Lead Commissioning Engineer

A specialist HVAC / Water Treatment / Commissioning company who holds a strong South West Presence, are now open to recruiting a Commissioning Engineer. You will be covering various new build/ construction sites and working in line with CIBSE guidelines; working from site plans and drawings and balancing various Air and Water systems. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must hold a full driving licence and be willing to travel in line with company requirements.

Bristol, Trowbridge, Chippenham, Stroud, Gloucester, Taunton, Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport, Barry, Caerphilly, Tiverton, Exeter, Barnstable, Yeovil, Warminster, Andover, Chippenham, Dorchester.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working within a commissioning role within the HVAC / Water Treatment industry.
” Good technical knowledge of Hot and Cold water and HVAC systems.
” Ideally holding a combination of CSA Grades (Levels 1-3).
” Will be well versed in relevant CIBSE guidelines.
” Able to conduct yourself in a professional manner.
” Using handheld PDA system.

The Role:
” Balancing of primary / secondary CHW and LTHW water systems.
” Balancing of air systems across new build constructions and existing sites.
” Measuring and balancing flow rates.
” Testing of AHUs.
” Ensuring work is being carried out in line with CIBSE guidelines.
” Managing time effectively and ensure time is set aside to complete handwritten and digital reports.
” Producing commissioning reports.
” Preparing work for witnessing.
” Liaising with clients and providing excellent technical support, dealing with queries efficiently.
