Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Salary / Benefits £22k – £45k +Training +Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Fire Risk Assessor through to Lead Fire Risk Assessor

Profile: A reputable, multi-discipline Environmental / Health and Safety Consultancy with a national presence, are now seeking to recruit a hard working Fire Risk Assessor based in and around the Bournemouth. Candidates will ideally hold the NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate, or similar industry recognised qualification and will have extensive experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of sites, alongside providing producing detailed site reports and working closely with clients to provide technical advice and recommendations.

Experience & Qualifications:
” Will have experience working for an established Health and Safety consultancy working within a Fire Risk Assessor role.
” Will have experience working on a mixed client base, carrying out Fire Risk Assessments.
” Competent in using PDA / Tablet systems.
” Must be well versed in relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
” Will ideally hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate, or another recognised qualification.
” Excellent communication skills and able to demonstrate good technical knowledge.
” Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety and PAS79 guidelines in relation to Fire safety.

The Role:
” Working on a mixed client base, carrying out Type 1/ 3 Fire Risk Assessments, pre-occupation surveys, evacuation plans, and site-specific emergency plans.
” Gathering information from site to produce detailed and bespoke Fire Risk Assessment reports.
” Working from building drawings and schematics
” Providing training in, use of fire extinguishers, and presenting fire training briefings.
” Liaising with clients, providing technical support when needed and dealing with any enquiries.
” Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
