Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £45k + Training + Benefits

We are recruiting in the Midlands region for an industry leading and family run Fire Safety company. They are now seeking to take on a Fire Risk Assessor. The successful candidate will be working on Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, and Industrial sites to carry out type 1 & 3 fire risk assessments as well as providing clients with site specific and detailed fire / evacuation plans. You will also be responsible for carrying out fire drills, use of fire extinguishers and fire warden training with clients. Experience & Qualifications:
” Experience working for an established Fire Risk / Health and Safety company working hands on as a Fire Risk Assessor.
” Holding the NEBOSH Fire certificate and / or other recognised Fire Risk Assessment qualification is desired.
” Will have excellent knowledge of relevant Health & Safety / PAS79 guidelines.
” Good IT skills.
” Able to manage time efficiently.

The Role:
” Undertaking type 1 & 3 Fire Risk Assessments across Local Authority, Healthcare, Educational, and Industrial sites ensuring they meet the regulatory fire safety requirements.
” Producing detailed reports based on fire risk assessment findings, efficiently evaluating hazards, and highlighting risk & control measures.
” Producing site specific, detailed fire plan drawings and evacuation plans and delivering briefings to clients.
” Working in line with PAS79 and relevant Health & Safety guidelines.
” Providing excellent support and technical advice to clients.
” Providing in depth training on the following: fire drills, use of fire extinguishers and fire warden training.
Alternative Job titles: Fire Risk Assessor, Fire Risk Consultant, Health, and Safety Consultant.

Overall the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic. Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel extensively as per client requirements.
