Job Description

Our client is a prominent and growing fire safety consultancy, that specialising in Asbestos, Health & Safety, Fire Risk and Water Hygiene sectors. They areactively seeking the services of a focused, diligent and multi skilled Fire Risk Assessor in West Central London area and will consider applications from Notting Hill, Ealing, Hammersmith and the surrounding areas.

Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – Technician status with recognized bodies – IFSM/IFPO/IFE would be preferred.

Ideally, they are looking for an individual who comes from a strong consultancy and technical background within the fire industry, having experience in other industries would be beneficial but not essential.

Must have an in- depth knowledge and experience of undertaking fire risk assessments on various properties, including commercial, industrial and public sectors.

Hold excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Well versed with the Health & Safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in various industry sectors, including commercial, industrial and residential.

Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings, delivering training courses, etc.

Delivering presentations and training.

Managing and developing the company’s client base.

Providing Fire and Safety Guidance and investigating incidents.

Producing fire risk assessments reports and ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Legislation with regards to fire.

Dealing with issues effectively and appropriately.

Liaising with clients and staff.

The successful post-holder will be of smart disposition, confident, methodical and have the ability to show competency in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments without supervision.

Must be prepared to travel extensively.
