Job Description

Our client, a well-established company who provide a range professional services is currently hoping to recruit an experienced and hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor in the Birmingham region. The successful applicant will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines. Applicants from Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Solihull, Tamworth and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the post-holder must have attended a Risk Assessment course such as City & Guilds or alternatively have had internal training courses.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must come from a good chemical, technical, educational and consultancy background.
A good working knowledge of the water treatment industry including Health & Safety.
Previous experience working as a legionella risk assessor.

Key Role:

Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures etc and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Writing up of reports and attending meetings if required.
Providing technical and consultancy advice to clients when required.
Build and maintain a good working relationship with clients/customers.
Ensuring that work is carried out effectively and within timescales.


Ideally, the individual will be a strong team player with a positive attitude.
