Job Description

Due to recent and rapid expansion of the business, this well-established water treatment company with a large presence nationwide is actively seeking to recruit an experienced and hard-working Legionella Risk Assessor in and around the Blackburn area. Consideration will be given to applications from Preston, Accrington, Ribchester, Burnley and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold Legionella Risk Assessment qualification – City & Guilds or alternatively attended In-House training courses.
Extensive legionella risk assessing experience.
Well versed with the water hygiene/legionella industry.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Undertake monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Collating and producing accurate reports.
Attending meetings to discuss findings of reports if required.
Maintaining a strong relationship with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.
