Job Description

Our client is a fast growing water treatment/water hygiene company providing a comprehensive range of water treatment services and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to work for them in and around the Croydon area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong water hygiene background and will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments on a range of site and contract types. Consideration will be given to applications from Epsom, Sevenoaks, Orpington, Dartford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant must hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or relevant qualification.
Experience of carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services.
Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as final documents – preparing and producing reports for clients.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Organisation and prioritisation of work.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients/customers.
