Job Description

A diverse and progressive water treatment/water hygiene that provides various professional and high quality services to clients across the country presently requires the services of a self-motivated and committed Legionella Risk Assessor based in the North West region. This role includes duties such as carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling, Collating and producing accurate reports. Applications from Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Purpose of the Role:

Providing Legionella Risk Assessments working on a mixed portfolio of contracts predominately in the North of England.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must hold the Legionella Risk Assessment course – City and Guilds or alternatively have had internal training courses.

Must have significant experience on carrying out risk assessments on hot and hot water services, industrial systems, etc.

Hold in-depth knowledge L8 ACOP.

Must have significant experience working within this role – carrying out Legionella risk assessments and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Principal Role:

Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.

Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.

Carrying out survey of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.

Collating and producing accurate reports.

Attending meetings – discussing findings of reports, etc., with clients.

Building and maintaining a good working relation with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.

Overall, the successful post-holder will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic, and will have good working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these and work independently and complete work within time line.

Must be flexible with regards to travelling.
