Job Description

One of our top clients in the water hygiene/legionella industry, known for their professional delivery of services to contracts across the UK, now seeks a self-motivated, competent and committed and multi-skilled Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team based in London. The successful postholder will came from a strong water hygiene background and will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines. Consideration will be given to applications from Wembley, Enfield, Bromley, Epsom and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally the applicant must have attended the Legionella Risk Assessment course – City and Guilds or alternatively have had internal training courses.
Must come from a good educational and technical background.
Must have significant and varied experience working within this role – carrying out Legionella risk assessments and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Must be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Key Role:

Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
Producing detailed reports.
Compiling schematic drawings, as well as producing final documents.
Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
Attending meetings.
Consulting with clients on findings within the reports.
Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
